Common questions
What’s the difference between coaching, mediation, and therapy?
Coaching helps you make decisions and a plan. Mediation is a neutral process to reach agreements with the other person, out of court. Therapy is clinical support for how you’re feeling. I offer all three.
Do you meet in person or online?
Everything is online, by secure video, for anyone in New Jersey. It’s private and flexible, with no commute.
Is mediation cheaper than court?
Usually, yes. It takes less time and money than a court battle, and the decisions stay with you instead of a judge.
Can we still stay together after coaching?
Of course. Some people come to rebuild their marriage, others to part. Both are fine. My job is to help you decide well.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes. As a licensed counselor, I’m held to professional confidentiality and ethics.
